A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE CENTRETOWN BUZZ:
Dear Centretowners,
For the first time in its 25-year history, The Centretown BUZZ will be publishing an online-only edition for April 2020. This edition can be downloaded in PDF format.
You can subscribe to the Centretown BUZZ Electronic Edition email list by sending an empty email to subscribe@centretownbuzz.ca. You will be notified as soon as future editions (electronic and paper) are published. Please share this link with your neighbours and friends!
We felt it was not appropriate to ask our volunteer team (ourselves included) to distribute the paper in the context of the many recent measures meant to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We are grateful to many during this uncertain time, including:
- our many volunteers, who write, proofread, distribute, and do so much more for The BUZZ;
- our advertisers, who have agreed to pay full rates so we can continue to cover our expenses until we return to printing;
- our new managing editor, Alayne McGregor, who has bent over backwards to pull together an electronic edition amid the many constraints of the COVID-19 crisis; and
- our readers–you!–who make it all worthwhile to produce Centretown’s only community newspaper.
As a monthly publication we are taking this one issue at a time. We hope you remain safe and healthy, until such time that The Centretown BUZZ will one day again make it to your door.
